Let me tell you a weekend in Daytona for Bike Week will give your unit the ultimate test! I am hear to report that my wife told me the night it was installed that she couldn’t really feel much difference, but on the way home today from Daytona, she pulled alongside and told me that she couldn’t believe the difference. Here’s a tip for the first-time customer: Put some miles on it, especially give it a good workout in some town or city riding where you are doing a lot clutch work. Then you’ll see what a difference it makes.
Last week we sold one to a guy who suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand a month ago. Lost his ring finger completely, and half his middle finger… We figure he’s the real acid test. He just received it a couple of days ago, so we don’t have any comments back from him yet.
We’ve had a few folks immediately write back to say, “I sat on the bike in the installing it, didn’t seem like it was doing anything. Guess it’s not working.” With no exceptions so far everyone who has initially responded that way, then taken the time to do as we suggest and give it a workout on the road in actual riding has then written back to say, “What a difference in how my hand (or forearm) feels after a day of riding.” The proof is in the dramatic lessening of the accumulated wear and tear from the repetitive clutch effort.
We’ve sold more than 400 units now in a little less than two years. Only a few have ever been returned with a complaint, and one of those was from a guy in the Army who said it made his clutch *too light, * that he thought he was losing some feel for how it was
engaging from a standstill.
Long and short of it is, we’ve gotten a lot of rave reviews, especially from the ladies who really struggle with the Harley clutch after starting out on the little Honda (for example), but also from men who suffered some sort of injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. Quite a number have written to say that they were going to sell the Harley and go back to a smaller bike with a lighter clutch until they decided to give the EZ Pull a try.
