ONE EASY STEP
Make your pickup safer, more useful, and more convenient. Step right up—whether your tailgate is open or closed. BedStep® deploys easily, with the flick of a foot. Then nearly disappears under the bumper when you’re done, leaving your hitch free for a trailer or other accessories. BedStep’s rigid, cast-aluminum hinges articulate on precision bearing pins to deliver smooth operation, solid support and years of maintenance-free operation.
ROCK SOLID
The AMP Research BedStep® is designed to perform flawlessly in snow, ice, dust, mud and dirt. This lightweight, yet rock-solid bumper step assist employs a rugged die-cast aluminum alloy linkage assembly that is crafted in the USA, and black-anodized and Teflon® powder-coated for maximum corrosion protection. Precision, stainless-steel hinge points and press-fit bushings ensure trouble-free action and reliable, maintenance-free operation for decades. Die-cast-aluminum alloy linkage components and precision-machined pivot points give BedStep® rock-solid stability, and Teflon powder-coating ensures years of trouble-free, corrosion-proof operation. The ridged, non-slip step is molded of strong glass-reinforced resin, for safe footing even in mud, snow or ice.

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS – AMP RESEARCH BEDSTEP
Wanted to let you know what a superb step product you all have. I was thinking of anything I could do about the problem of getting into my 2009 Tacoma bed with the tailgate down. Its really a pain and being 50 does not help the matter any. I starting to just go and trade it in to for a Silverado like I had before as there bumpers are flat and with the tailgate down you can step up on it and climb in pretty easy..unless it is lifted. I was on Tacoma World and saw your BedStep pictured on the rear of someone else’s truck who had the same problem I did. As you know the rear bumpers turn up on the ends making step up just impossible. All the install videos are of Fords and Chevy’s. But watching that and looking at the how to install instructions it looked to easy to actually be true. Guys in a shop with tools, and experience is 6 minutes to install. Old guys like me 15 minutes. UPS brought my BedStep on Thursday and I was actually quite impressed with the overall quality of the product. When going over the hardware I was afraid of the usual China crap I see but was relieved to see it was good hardware. After putting it on and making sure all was tight to the specs given I tried it out and only one thing came to mind….damn wish I had this 2 years ago. The only negative thing I have read about this step was folks writing about was the price. I paid $188.03 for mine with a coupon. I see companies advertising them for as high as $343.00. I shopped around for quite awhile to find mine out of Florida and it included free shipping…which we all know its really not but it was cheapest place I could find. I have a step to show some friends that have Tacoma’s.
Thanks again!

Just installed your product. EXCELLENT design. Construction is precise, well-executed and nice looking. I suspect the power running boards that came stock with my new F-150 Platinum are made for Ford by you as well. Darn nice work folks!

I just wanted to let you know that my father in-law just had a Bed Step installed on his 2007 Toyota Tundra. As he is 69 years old and not as flexible as he used to be; we had been looking for some time for a product that would allow him easier access to the truck bed and not get in the way of the items stowed in the truck. Additionally, we wanted something that was just a bolt on and did not have to drill new holes into the truck (too much room for error).
To make a long story short the bed step not only made it easier to get into the back of the truck. To me it looks as if the Bed Step has taken years off my father in-law. For years he has wanted a pickup truck and in his retirement he was finally able to get one. The only draw back that he has had is getting into the back of it. It would take a few painful minuets for him to get into back of the truck; it was also painful to watch him climb in. With the Bed Step he can (now) do it with ease. It was funny to watch him kick the step down, grab on the truck and hop in.
Thanks again.
